Address Based Population Registration System

Population by years, age group and sex, Population Censuses - ABPRS

The table contains information on population size and proportions by broad age group and sex for Türkiye total starting from 1935. Broad age groups are "0-14, 15-64, and 65+." Information for the 1935-2000 period is provided based on the traditional population censuses of which were conducted in every five years between 1935 and 1990, and the last one was in 2000. Annual information from 2007 onwards is from the Address Based Population Registration System (ABPRS).
