Median age by years and sex, Population Censuses - ABPRS

The table contains annual median age information by sex for Türkiye total as of 1935. The median age is the age of the person in the middle when the ages of all people in the population are sorted from the new-born baby to the oldest. Information for the 1935-2000 period is provided based on the traditional population censuses of which were conducted in every five years between 1935 and 1990, and the last one was in 2000. Annual information from 2007 onwards is from the Address Based Population Registration System (ABPRS).
