Annual growth rate of population and population density of provinces by years

The table contains information on the annual population growth rate and population density for provinces since 2007. In the calculation of annual population growth rate for the related period, administrative division of the latest year is taken into consideration. Population density is defined as the population per square kilometre and is calculated by division of the population size by the surface area in square kilometres. In the calculation of population density indicator, the land surface area excluding “inland water bodies (natural and dam lakes, rivers and continental shelves, etc.)” is used in accordance with the international definitions.
